Problems plaguing the PlayStation 4 game console

The PlayStation 4 is an extraordinary piece of hardware, but like all game consoles, it is not affected from time to time. Since its release in 2013, Sony has tried to solve most of the intermittent problems of consoles through various firmware updates. In 2016, Sony released two new iterations on its front console: a slimmer model of the same name and a Sony PlayStation 4 pro, which provide better performance than its predecessors.

Our guide covers common problems with PS4 game console repair and offers you the possible solutions as quickly as possible.

Flashing blue indicator light:

“Blue Line of Death” which lasts three years under the line, continues to be the crippled of all the problems that will be experienced in PS4 game console. Taking a tip from the Xbox 360′s “Red Ring of death”, the blue line exposed to the bumps indicates that a technical problem might occur and means your console is no longer functional. Unlike the red ring, “Blue Line of Death” does not automatically means that the PS4 game console is dead, but it does the same thing as the ring. We make sure you know it’s really a big problem.

A handful of users have noted that updating the firmware of the television fixes the lack of audio video signal. If you have a new TV, especially with internet connection, refer to the instruction manual of the TV and update the firmware. Check the HDMI ports. Take a look at the HDMI ports on your TV and PS4 for any anomalies or damage with the cable. Try alternative HDMI cables if possible.

Flashing red indicator light:

The “Red Line of Death” reports are not as common as the above-mentioned flashing blue light, but it is almost a serious situation. The LED indicator light that surrounds the side of the console will blink red repeatedly and the system will shut down after three different beeps. The problem is probably related to fan overheating as specified by the PS4 user manual and approved by Sony as a result of a fan failure. However, a few minutes after some users turned on the console for the first time, they reported the problem.

Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 game console repair for at least seven seconds or until the system beeps and powers off. Then, remove the power supply and allow it to rest for a long time until it is sufficiently cold before powering up the console again.

Place your PS4 in a well-ventilated location to ensure that you have adequate space, avoiding carpet and similar services whenever possible. In addition, some users have reported that placing the console vertically helps reduce overheating.

HDMI port is corrupted and faulty HDMI cables:

It may or may not be PS4-specific, but some users have reported problems with a damaged HDMI port on PS4 units. The problem that causes the lack of audio or video output on the TV is mostly due to a connection lag from bent metal parts on the built-in HDMI connection on the console. Although the reason for the twisted component is unknown, the connection point is incompatible because the twisted piece can no longer be properly connected by HDMI cable. In addition, there are reports that faulty HDMI cables do not work for a reason.

If you can clearly see the twisted state of a piece of metal at the HDMI connection point on the PS4 game console repair, bend the damaged part with a pin or a small tool. Use a different HDMI cable, if you are unfortunate enough to get a faulty HDMI cable from Sony, use another handheld cable or buy a new one.
